Day 2: Alba Iulia and Turda Salt Mine

Sighisoara is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. The citadel is a vibrant, living museum, its cobblestone streets and colorful buildings narrating stories of ancient days. Here, you can explore the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, thought to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Climb the covered Scholar’s Stairs to the Church on the Hill for a panoramic view of the city that seems untouched by time.
The journey continues towards the serene village of Viscri, renowned for its fortified church, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Viscri offers a glimpse into the rural life of Transylvania that has remained largely unchanged for hundreds of years.

Day 3: Sighișoara Citadel and Viscri Fortified Church
Explore Brasov and visit the Bran Castle
Take the time to discover Brasov and wander through the Council Square (Piața Sfatului), heartily embraced by colorful baroque buildings and the striking Black Church that stands as a guardian of the city’s past.
After that, go to the legendary Bran Castle, perched high on a rocky outcrop and shrouded in the lore of Dracula. Despite its fictional connections to Bram Stoker’s vampire, Bran Castle’s real allure lies in its majestic architecture and the history encapsulated within its walls. Tour the castle’s many rooms and secret passages.
In the afternoon go back towards Bucharest.
