Details of the tour:
The Peles Castle in Sinaia, a summer residence for the kings of Romania, was built from the desire of King Carol I of Romania. He visits Sinaia and falls in love with the beauty of that place. He decides to build a castle here, which later will become the summer residence. The castle has 160 rooms and many entrances and stairs. The central tower is 66 meters high. Peles also has a theatre room with a small stage and 60 seats. It also has some very modern features for its time: central heating. Unlike other trips on the market, our guide will escort you inside the castle. In the Peles castle tour, he will present you with amazing history, beautiful rooms and stories less known about Romania.

Bran castle tour
The story of Bran castle begins in medieval times when the Teutonic Knights built a fortress in Bran.
The current Bran castle was built later by the people in Brasov. With a tumultuous history, hosting one king after another, Bran castle is currently a museum.
Our guide will unveil for you the castle’s darkest secrets and its connections with Dracula and the royal family.
After two beautiful castles, it’s time to relax and enjoy your lunch in a traditional place. Taste the Romanian food and your taste buds will thank you. After this relaxing lunch, Brasov city centre waits to be discovered.
Our guide will offer you a Brasov city tour in the old town. Admire the Black church, the biggest Gothic church in Romania. Take pictures of the medieval houses and the big Council Square. Enjoy the walk on the narrowest street in East Europe. Feel Brasov and let it charm you!
Enjoy also a Medieval tour in Transylvania.

I am a family of four. Two adults and two small kids age 3 and 6. I highly encourage for anyone planning to see Dracula Castle and Brasov and Peles Castle to book this private tour. Why bother going with big groups? Customize your trip, stop whenever you want is the best way to see Romania! I did my tour with Florin of Secret Romania. He is liscensed and have a lot of background information during this trip. He is on time and he can skip the line for you and grab your tickets! You spend all your money and time to travel to Romania, dont ruin the experience by booking with the wrong tour guides! Highly recommended. Very professional tour guide. I Have traveled to 64 countries, take my advice!

It was as informative as it was entertaining. We learned some very interesting facts about Dracula. Furthermore, in these weird pandemic times, it allows us to travel in this beautiful country.

We took this tour with Vlad. He picked us up promptly at our address. While driving to our first stop, he gave us a clear explanation of our itinerary as well as interesting info about life in Romania, both historical and contemporary. He was a great guide at stops and followed a good pace. The whole tour is definitely a full day, but he structured it so that we were switching between activities and breaks so that it didn’t feel like we were too busy or taking too long. We were a group of three adults, ages 26-61 and a child, age 9, and really enjoyed the tour…would certainly recommend!

Vlad, our tour guide, made the trip. His knowledge of the area and the sites is unsurpassed.
If you take this tour, you should make sure you have Vlad as your guide.

Corina at Secret Romania organised a private trip for the 2 of us to Peles and Bran Castles and Brasov. Communication throughout was very good.
Our guide Vlad provided a very interesting rundown of the history and politics of Romania and was an engaging companion for the day. We really enjoyed his recommendation for lunch in Brasov – Ograda. The scenery on the return to Bucharest from Bran Castle was awesome.
