Once you have passed Poenari fortress on the way from Curtea de Arges, you are on Transfagarasan road. Before seeing its tight curves and enjoying the amazing landscape, stop for a moment on the Vidraru dam. If you are afraid of heights don’t look down, look up and admire the lake. Transfagarasan road tour will continue with the most beautiful road in the world, so prepare your camera for it! For lunch, we will stop at the top of Transfagarasan, in Balea Lac chalet, next to Balea glacier lake. From there you can see Transylvania at your feet.
